Chaque watt aussi. C\u2019est dans cet \u00e9quilibre d\u00e9licat qu\u2019ION-X intervient.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\"><strong>\u00ab Notre moteur cherche le meilleur compromis entre pouss\u00e9e, consommation \u00e9lectrique et rendement global \u00bb, explique Thomas Hiriart, CEO de la startup.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">La technologie repose sur un principe \u00e9lectrohydrodynamique : des ions sont extraits d\u2019un liquide conducteur, puis acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9s afin de produire une pouss\u00e9e continue avec une consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie minimale. Un parcours \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e de la science et de la strat\u00e9gie qu\u2019il met aujourd\u2019hui au service de la structuration d\u2019un projet industriel.\nDepuis son arriv\u00e9e, ION-X a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 deux lev\u00e9es de fonds, dont une S\u00e9rie A en 2024, avec le soutien de la Commission europ\u00e9enne, Expansion, Innovacom et Technofounders.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">Le premier moteur ION-X a \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9 en orbite d\u00e9but 2025 \u00e0 bord d\u2019un satellite danois lanc\u00e9 par SpaceX. L\u2019objectif : six mois de tests en conditions r\u00e9elles afin de valider ses performances.\nEn parall\u00e8le, une usine d\u2019assemblage est pr\u00e9vue en r\u00e9gion parisienne pour accompagner le passage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle. M\u00e9t\u00e9o, navigation, surveillance maritime, agriculture, t\u00e9l\u00e9communications : les infrastructures spatiales irriguent notre quotidien, souvent sans que nous en ayons conscience.\nION-X ne pr\u00e9tend pas tout r\u00e9volutionner. Mais en proposant une solution l\u00e9g\u00e8re, modulaire et performante, la startup contribue \u00e0 renforcer un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me spatial europ\u00e9en encore trop d\u00e9pendant de standards \u00e9trangers.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">Propulser autrement, c\u2019est aussi une mani\u00e8re de reprendre le
